I moved back to Llano, my hometown, after coaching a few years. I opened my own real estate office in 1985 and now have CENTURY 21 Landmasters offices in Llano, Sunrise Beach, and Kingsland. Over the years, I have been active in civic activities and public office. My wife, Sherrie, and I have three children. Dawna is a graduate of Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colorado where she received her Chemical Engineering degree. Nathan graduated from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas where he received his Civil Engineering degree, and Andy received his degree in Finance from Texas Tech recently. I feel very fortunate to live in a place where so many good folks want to live or just come play. This area is full of history and I still enjoy hearing and keeping up with the many stories of Llano’s Legend and Lure.

I received my Broker's license while in my early twenties and for 20 years I was a licensed general real estate appraiser. I enjoy following market trends and helping buyers and sellers make smart decisions concerning their real estate investments.

I grew up in Llano County, so I can tell you first hand about the many benefits of living in this beautiful place. My husband, Mark, and I own CENTURY 21 Landmasters and we strive to share our love of this area with other people, while making their real estate experience a positive one. We believe that our company is comprised of the best agents in the business, and are committed to superior personal service in every aspect of each transaction.

We live ten miles north of Llano near the historic Babyhead area. We have three children; Dawna is a Chemical Engineer living in Dallas, Texas; Nathan is a Civil Engineer living in San Antonio, Texas, and our youngest son, Andy, has recently obtained his degree in Finance fromTexas Tech University and is working in Marble Falls, Texas. I obtained my real estate license in 1985, and have extensive knowledge of the area. I grew up on Lake LBJ, where my family was in the resort business. I love working with people and the real estate business gives me the opportunity to do that. When I am not working, I enjoy riding my bike, paddling the Llano River in a kayak or canoe, walking our two energetic dogs, and cooking for my family.

I am a native "Llanoan" and have been lucky enough to live in Llano most of my life. I graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Biology. I have worked as a Wildlife Biologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, rancher/feed dealer, and a bank branch manager. I have been in the real estate business serving Llano and nearby counties for the past 15 years. I sell all types of real estate but specialize in acreage, homes on acreage, and ranches. I enjoy showing our beautiful Hill Country and sharing my knowledge of the area. I work hard for my clients and many of them have become life long friends. My wife Jeanne and I are very active in St. James Lutheran Church in Llano and enjoy RVing the western states, and hunting and fishing as hobbies. If not working at my real estate job or in the yard at home, you will find me making improvements on the family ranch near the Prairie Mountain Community in Southwest Llano County.

If you would like to own a "little piece of heaven" in this "neck of the woods", come see me and we'll look for it together and have fun doing it.

My family and I have lived from Central Texas to the Panhandle. I attended school in Anson and Clarendon where I graduated. No matter where we lived, my heart and roots remained in beautiful western Llano County. While growing up, most weekends, holidays, and summers were spent with my grandparents just north of Castell. After graduation from Tarleton State University with a biology degree, I spent four years coaching high school football, basketball, and teaching biology in Nazareth and Crosbyton Texas.

While attending graduate school, I met my wife Judy. A week after getting married we moved to Llano where we both began teaching in the Llano School District. Judy teaches kindergarten while I coached and taught biology in high school. Later we both earned our Master of Education degrees. We knew early on that Llano would be our home and the perfect community to raise our three children, David, Joel, and Carrie.

In 1980 I earned my real estate license and began selling during the summers. I eventually quite coaching in order to spend more time with my family, and took a position of teaching junior high science. My entire life I have loved being outdoors, working/feeding cattle, deer hunting, running hounds, gardening, and fishing. For the past twenty five years, I have run a cow calf operation specializing in raising quality Gert cross cattle. I own and lease a number of places in Mason and Western Llano County. My children and I spent many years successfully raising and showing lambs, and steers. We have branched out into the boer goat business and still sell a few American show steers.

In 2006, after 32 years of teaching, I retired. I began working full time for Century 21 Landmasters in the Llano office. I am looking forward to spending more time hunting, fishing, feeding my cattle in daylight, and building a real estate business.

2007 was a very good year. I received the Century 21 Quality Service Award for customer satisfaction and The Hill Country Brokers Council Distinguished Agent Award. God continues to bless me in all areas of my life.

My husband Kenny and I are natives of the Hill Country. I was raised in Marble Falls and he was raised in Burnet. After several years away, when we had the opportunity to return to the Hill Country, we jumped at the chance to come back and make it our home. We have lived in Llano for about eighteen years and I know the area very well. We love boating on the lakes with our children and grandchildren. We live in the country and garden and raise boer show goats. We sit out on our back porch and watch the sunset in the evenings and know how fortunate we are to be able to live in such a beautiful place. That is why I chose to sell real estate, to help people find a place to live and enjoy the peace and beauty of our area. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to introduce new people to the Hill Country and help them find the place that makes them feel at home. Whether it is a home in town, waterfront property, or acreage, I am your friend in real estate and I look forward to working for you.

As a lifelong resident of the Texas Hill Country - over 30 years in Llano County - I am pleased to share the beauty and abundance it has to offer. Llano offers a generous, kind, and engaged community as well as the natural beauty of the Llano River and countryside.

I moved to Llano in 1978 to give my children the benefit of a small town community and education which has served them well. Now I am happy to have my grandchildren nearby, also products of our community and school system.

Over the years I have bought and sold many homes and businesses in Llano, including several restoration projects and rental properties (both residential and commercial). I have also been a local business owner for 30 years, most recently opening Storage Units. I have also owned (or co-owned) and operated a Diesel Repair Shop, Used Car Lot, Trucking Business, Cafe, Convenience Store, Restaurant, B & B and Home Health Service.

I have a strong and versatile understanding of both residential and commercial possibilities based on real world experience and a hands-on approach to the business of making these investments work.

Over the years I have contributed much time, energy, and resources to this community which has given me so much. I was on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce for 5 years, participating in all endeavors the chamber undertook, including organizing the Chamber banquets, pulling the Chamber float to area parades, working the Chamber booths, and much more. I have participated in helping most of our local organizations and held a record-breaking fund raiser for our youth. I was named Citizen of the Year in 1995.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, quiet moments fishing on the Llano River, long walks in the country with my dog, Sunny, taking care of my gardens and getting creative in my kitchen.

My family first visited Llano in late 2000. We purchased our first property in 2001, where we built our "retirement home" on the Llano River and have since added several more properties to our real estate portfolio. My wife Lee and I moved to the area for good in May 2007, but I haven't had the time to retire yet.

I am a graduate of the McCombs Business School at the University of Texas and the National Commercial Lending School at SMU. I owned a successful oil field supply business for 18 years, then after selling out I worked as a commercial/mortgage loan officer for a bank, specializing in home & interim construction loans. I have been a real estate agent/broker for 9 years - I have extensive experience in all types of real estate sales and marketing, and also enjoy property management.

My wife and I operate the Deer Blind Guest House on the Llano River on CR 103. We have two married children - Brooke and Cameron, and three grandsons. My community involvement includes: Director Llano Chamber of Commerce, Director Llano Main Street, Member Llano Red Top Jail committee, Member Highland Lakes Board of Realtors, Member Kingsville and Corpus Christi, Texas Board of Realtors, Member Longhorn Foundation, and Member University of Texas Exes.

I strive for outstanding customer service in every transaction and I am committed to selling life styles, not just real estate.

The Hill Country has been my home for nearly 20 years. I have two beautiful daughters that were born and raised here in Llano. I have career experience in several fields and have worked for some wonderful companies in the area, but it’s real estate that has captured my heart. Whether it’s helping a family to find just the home, assisting with the sale of your current home or relocation assistance, it’s my sincere pleasure to walk you through that process, providing expertise, experience and compassion. You can count on me to be honest, hard-working, and determined to get the best outcome for your real estate needs. It would be my privilege to have the opportunity to serve and work with you.

Real estate has been a terrific career change for me. For many years I was in management with a large paging company. My husband and I had the opportunity to move back to Llano, and we owned and managed the Hungry Hunter restaurant. Later, I obtained my real estate license and I have enjoyed helping people find their dream property in the Texas Hill Country. Ron and I have three children and 6 grandchildren, whom we love spending time with. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, fishing on the Llano River, and traveling.

After traveling the world during my 20-year service in the U.S. Air Force, my family and I are grateful to be back in my native Texas and especially the Highland Lakes area!

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, I attended the former Thomas Jefferson High School where the school mascot was the Yellow Jacket. I later joined the Air Force in 1983, and was based in various locations, including San Antonio, Belleville, Ill., Panama, Lubbock, San Angelo and Eagle River, Alaska. I met my wife – an Air Force Major – when we were both stationed in Panama. It was after we returned to Texas from Panama that we took a trip through the Hill Country and decided then that we would eventually settle down in this area.

I began my real estate career in San Antonio in 2004, using my skills to help military families find homes in the area. I continued to specialize in military relocations when I moved to Alaska, which is home to Army and Air Force bases. I know I can help you find the perfect home in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, whether it’s lakefront property, acreage or the perfect neighborhood for your family.

My wife is a graduate of Texas Tech University, and my 13 year old daughter attends Llano Middle School. I am very active in the local school system and youth sports organizations. It seems things have come full circle as I am once again rooting for the Yellow Jackets!
